Important Things to Know When Working with These Gel Polishes:
- Since these gel polishes are highly pigmented, it is essential to use a certified 48W hybrid lamp for polymerization. The lamp should not be older than 4–6 months and must meet the required parameters. Cure each layer for 60 seconds.
- If applying gel polish over a base, be sure to remove the dispersion layer from the base. This ensures that the gel polish applies evenly and smoothly.
- For dark and bright shades, we recommend using PRO GLOSS TOP. For light shades, use PRO NO WIPE TOP.
Application Process:
- Apply the gel polish on a nail that has been coated with a base or sculpted with gel or polygel.
- If applying on a base, be sure to remove the dispersion (sticky) layer with a Cleaner. If applying on a sculpted nail, ensure the surface is evenly buffed.
- Apply one or two layers of gel polish, choosing the method according to your technique. Cure each layer for 60 seconds in a 48W LED hybrid lamp.
- After applying the gel polish, finish with a top coat.
Gel Polish Removal:
- Since gel polish is soak-off, it can be easily removed using a special remover liquid. Before soaking, it is recommended to buff down most of the polish, leaving only a thin layer to speed up and improve the process.
- Gel polish can also be removed using an electric file. This process should be performed carefully and responsibly, selecting the appropriate bits to avoid nail damage.
